Author Biography
Darshan Karki and Sarah Speck are PhD students in Human Geography, Department of Geography at the University of Zurich, Switzerland.
Darshan (darshan.karki@geo.uzh.ch) researches on social movements and state-society relations with a regional focus on the lowlands of Nepal.Sarah’s (sarah.speck@geo.uzh.ch) research focuses on ageing and life in old age in the global South, looking into older people’s lives in rural Western Nepal for her doctorate.

This is a review of White Sun, a Nepali-language movie directed by Deepak Rauniyar.
