Author Biography
Nayna Jhaveri (Ph.D., Geography, Clark
University, 1999) is a geographer focused
on the political ecology of the Himalayas.
She has worked on community based
management of natural resources in
the Chinese and Nepali Himalayas for
over twenty years. After receiving her
Ph.D., she taught political ecology at the
University of Washington and Colgate
University for nine years. She is currently
working with the USAID-supported
Tenure and Global Climate Change
Program managed by Tetra Tech.
