Description
More and more users' first encounter with the library happens online. Are you putting your best foot forward? Can everyone find what they need when they need it? Unless your site is perfect (and none are) the answers are probably no.
The answer might be usability testing. If you, like SELCO are put off by the idea of expensive contracts with outside vendors or the difficulty of reaching quantifiable results, you might be interested in the way SELCO has decided to implement its usability tests. Our usability tests will be conducted all with equipment we currently own. Join us for a discussion of how we arrived at this method and how you, too, can implement some basic usability testing for your users as well.
