Integrating Online Library Resources into Learning Management Systems: a Roundtable Discussion
Description
More and more online library resources (such as ArtStor) allow their content to be embedded into an institutions' Learning Management System, creating a richer, more seamless learning experiences for students while reducing the time instructors need to spend collecting and managing content. During this roundtable, we will show some examples of how online library resources available to Macalester College students and faculty can be utilized within the College's Learning Management System. We will also encourage session attendees to share examples of resources that they are utilizing in their Learning Management Systems. In addition to showing examples, we will also discuss some of the challenges of finding and implementing online library resources into institutions' Learning Management Systems.
