Easy Personal Bibliographic Management Using Zotero

Description

Zotero is a free, easy-to-use management system for organizing articles and content discovered while you are exploring the web, and also content you have stored on your workstation or laptop (e.g. pdf files). Because it is a Firefox web browser extension, it operates in a familiar environment and is easy to install. It is designed to fit into your work flow and to facilitate the findability of your discovered content at a later time when you need to refer to it again. This presentation will discuss and demonstrate Zotero's basic functionality and many value-added features such as article tagging and folders, automatic capture of content metadata, bibliographic citation capabilities, text note-taking, online access to your organized content, import/export capabilities with some other online personal bibliographic management systems, and community features.
