About this Journal
Himalaya, the Journal of the Association for Nepal and Himalayan Studies, is the continuation of Himalayan Research Bulletin (1981-2003) and the Nepal Studies Association Newsletter (1972-1980). They were all published by the Association for Nepal and Himalayan Studies which was known as the Nepal Studies Association from 1972-2000.
Himalaya (ISSN 0089-4834) is published twice a year. With the exception of the two most recent years of publications, a complete backfile of all issues including the newsletters and research bulletins will be available by the end of 2010. Current issues will become available in an electronic format two years after the date of publication
Current print issues of Himalaya are available for current members and subscribers. Annual subscriptions for current issues (volumes 26 and 27) are:
- Students, Hamalayan Nationals US $20.00 (US $ 25 with effect from volume 28)
- Other Individuals US $35.00 (US $45 with effect from volume 28)
- Institutions and Libraries US $75.00 (US $95 with effect from volume 28)
