Are you considering using a new technology in your library session or program? Technology serves learners best when it enables them to be engaged and challenged. In this session, you'll be introduced to a framework to help you evaluate the potential value of incorporating technology into your learning design and determine how to effectively implement that technology. I'll share my experience using the SAMR model to redesign assignments at MacEwan University and examples from a variety of contexts (K-12, Makerspaces) will be discussed. There will be an opportunity to practice applying the model.
