Ebooks and SimplyE: A Consortial Approach

Have you heard about SimplyE? It's an innovative mobile app that combines ebook collections from multiple vendors into a single, easy-to-browse, collection for library patrons. The New York Public Library built the app with funding from IMLS and now Minitex, along with several partners, is working to make the app even better. When their work is done, the app will be able to combine collections from multiple libraries, not just multiple vendors. Finding and reading ebooks is about to become a whole lot simpler for library patrons.
