This workshop will introduce participants to the jQuery Mobile framework. jQuery Mobile is a simple, freely available framework designed to aid in creating mobile websites. We will present resources targeted at creating a basic page from scratch using the jQuery mobile framework along with basic HTML and CSS coding. Participants should have some knowledge of HTML and CSS going into the workshop, but no previous knowledge of jquery or any other coding language is necessary—newbie friendly. This workshop will be a hands-on building experience that focuses on “how-to” over content. Participants will walk away from the workshop with an understanding of the basics of jQuery Mobile and resources for learning more.
