It's no secret that Open Source ILSs have matured into robust, full-featured alternatives to the major proprietary players, but many institutions that could benefit from these systems haven't yet seriously considered them. The old stereotypes about Open Source software die hard, but we'll try to put another nail in the coffin, by taking you through the experience of one independent high school's migration from Millennium to Koha in the space of a few months with support from their contract service provider.
