Makerspace Mornings in a School Library Media Center

Presenter Information

Donna Ohlgren, Rush Creek Elementary

Description

Come learn about an elementary school library's "Makerspace Mornings". In this space, students tinker, play, and create with materials such as Little Bits, an Ozobot, a sewing machine, and 3D printer software. Students might create Duct Tape projects or markerbots, use recycled items to create "something new", or "take apart" old technology. The development, funding, and outcomes (intended and unintended!) of the space will be covered.
