Using LibAnalytics to Gather and Evaluate Reference Statistics

Description

How many of you are seeking a meaningful, easy way to track reference transactions? LibAnalytics may help your library streamline this process.

This poster session describes the implementation of LibAnalytics from Springshare to gather and evaluate reference transactions. Rasmussen College Libraries began using LibAnalytics in Fall 2011, replacing a paper & spreadsheet based method of tracking reference statistics. We will demonstrate how to create a reference data instance in LibAnalytics, best practices for training & communication, and methods for data analysis using the Data Explorer utility, which is used to report to college & library administrators the reference and staffing needs of your library.
