Contribute to the conversation and begin your own process of “envisioning the library in 2025!” Over the past year and a half, 24 early career librarians known as the Minnesota Library Futurists have investigated potential economic, social, technological and other trends to craft an idea of what libraries and the patrons they serve will look like in the next 15 years. Join representatives of this group for a brief overview of the project, a look at models for futurist thinking, and time for discussion around how technology will shape libraries in 2025.
