Approaches to Database Management: Did Our Comprehensive Review Work?
Description
In 2010, Webster University Library completed a comprehensive review of their 150+ databases. This session will address the review process from development to execution including information on who was involved and why. To close the loop, this session will attempt to determine if this project was a success. Did the database cancellations promote use of more relevant resources? Did database usage go up? What were the unintended consequences? Quantitative and qualitative measures will be discussed.
