Highlighting the Research Experience with Digital Commons
Description
I will be explaining how St. Kate's is using Digital Commons to highlight undergraduate students research experience rather than just the research itself. Through the use of the gallery format in Digital Commons we have created a way to highlight the student and a narrative of their research experiences. From there we have created relationships and links to the faculty experiences working with the students and the actual end product of some of the research projects. There are current discussion about expanding this and using this to reach out to alumni and donors for some of the research projects as well.
